Because the growing season at this altitude is so short, often just a few weeks in mid to late summer, the flowering plants here tend to bloom in a tighter, more concentrated window than lowland or mid-altitude vegetation. Storage
Like our other honey varieties, Alpine Wildflower Honey should be stored at room temperature away from direct sunlight, with no need for refrigeration. Crystallization may occur naturally over time, particularly in cooler storage conditions, and can be reversed by gently warming the jar in warm water if a smoother, more pourable texture is preferred.
